Ray Rice

When it come to the issue regarding Ray Rice, I am stuck in the middle. Do I believe he should have been suspended indefinitely by the NFL? I would say no to this question. First off I must say, I do not condone domestic violence against anyone, and not justifies a men doing what Rice did to his wife. I believe suspended the Rice was the wrong step for the NFL, and I have a couple reasons why I say that. First, what happened between the Rice's was obviously a personal and family issue. I understand the Rice is a role model and in the public eye, but his home situation should not effect his workplace. I believe the main reason he was suspended because the media got a hold of the video and splashed all over the internet. Secondly, instead of suspended him indefinitely. I feel the NFL should have taken this opportunity to connect with the community. After the apologize, The NFL should have reached out and help Rice get help. They should have made him get a little help and stick by his while doing so. Now, I do not feel the same way about all the other domestic violence cases popping up in the NFL. I say this about Rice because I personally feel he is not a bad person and I do not think he's a women beater. Let's keep in mind she did hit him first, BUT it still doesn't justify his action. I know, I know. I feel he needs a little help, and they both need marriage assistance.

Boss Evaluation Experience

One of my favorite evaluation was when I worked for Ralph Lauren. My general manager, Josh Olcott, was an amazing and motivating boss. During my evaluations with him, he always made sure I knew what he expect of me. He provided feedback, praise, and  constructive criticism of my performance at the workplace During these evaluation, he also listened. He listened to the concerns, question, or emotional outburst I had regarding the work place. With each concern, question or outburst, he was able to provide feedback to whatever I was having issues with. If he did not have a response, he would out it on hold until he had a response for me. He also always made it very clear that his door was always open, and he was always there if we (employees) needed someone to talk to. He cared not only about the company and customers, but he really card for employees as individuals.
